Personal information we process

Jack of Dice processes your personal information because you use our services and/or you've supplied us with your information yourself. Below is a list of the information we process:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Data regarding your activity on our website
  • Bank account number
We use this information for:
  • Handling your payments
  • Shipping your ordered goods and services
  • Sending our newsletter through MailChimp (only if you've signed up for it)
  • Jack of Dice also processes personal information when we are legally required to, such as information we are need for our tax filings.


How long we store your personal information

Your information is stored by Jack of Dice for as long as we are legally required to do so. Jack of Dice does not store your information for longer than needed for the goals your information is collected for. Data which is no longer needed is removed within a year.

Jack of Dice does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide this data when needed for the fulfillment of our agreement with you, or when legally required. With entities who process your data on our behalf, we close a processing agreement to guarantee the same level of protection of your data. Jack of Dice remains responsible for this processing.

Exceptional and/or sensitive personal information we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to gather information about website visitors younger than 16 years, unless they have permission from a parent or legal guardian. However, we have no way to verify the age of our website visitors. We recommend parents or legal guardians to be involved in the online activity of the children in their care, to prevent their data from being gathered without the parents' or legal guardians' permission.

If you are convinced we have gathered data of a minor without this permission, please contact us through, and we will remove this information.

Sharing of data with third parties

To run our business and website we are helped by a handful of other companies.

  • Our newsletter is sent out through MailChimp. For this, they store email addresses and names.
  • Our website and the information needed for orders (names and addresses) are hosted by Shopify.
  • Payments are processed by Shopify, Molly, Buckaroo and PayPal.
  • Mail and parcels are sent through PostNL and Fier Fietskoerier from Delft, who are supplied with names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers (for shipping confirmations and notifications), which are shared with their partners in the shipping chain.


Although we do have a Facebook and Instagram profile, these are not linked directly to our website.

Cookies and comparable technologies we use

Jack of Dice uses only techincal, functional and analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy.

A cookie is a small text file that is saved on your computer, tablet or smartphone during your first visit to this website. The cookies we use are technicaly necessary for running the website and for your ease of use. They make sure the website runs smoothly and for instance remember the contents of your shopping basket. They also enable us to optimize our website.

You can decline cookies by changing the settings of your web browser so it does not save cookies anymore. Through these settings you can also view and delete all the information that has been stored previously.

Viewing, changing, or deleting your data

You have the right to view, correct, of delete your personal data. You also have the right to revoke any permission you have given for the processing of your data, or to file an objection against the processing of your data by Jack of Dice, and the right to data communication. This means you can file a request with us to send the personal data we have of you in a computer file, to you or to an organisation of your choice.

You can send to your request to view, correct, delete or communicate your personal data, your request to revoke your permission, or your objection to the processing of your data. To verify that the request has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your ID with your request. On this copy, black out your photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the bottom strip with numbers), document number and social security number (such as the Dutch Burgerservicenummer or BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, to your request.
