Wyvern - Nolzurs

A wyvern is a large winged lizard with a stinging tail and sharp teeth. They have dark brown or grey bodies, around 15' (4.6 m) in length, weighing around a ton. They are not greatly intelligent although they do speak Draconic fluently. They are not averse to attacking anything less powerful than themselves. Their sleek, strong legs prove very useful for attack. Wyverns were used as mounts by various races and cultures, their hide is used in bookbinding and their poisonous barbed tail can be used for poison darts.
