Chapter 1: Mists Over Eriador describes the regions that were once part of the kingdom of Arnor, focusing on the city of Tharbad.

Chapter 2: An Approaching Storm offers the Loremaster a series of story elements aimed at outlining a possible future for the land of Eriador as a whole, including the description of many looming dangers, Loremaster characters, and their agendas.

Chapter 3: Landmarks adds twelve interesting locations, modeled after those described in the base book. These locations depict both "historical" sites mentioned in The Lord of the Rings™ or The Hobbit™, as well as others created specifically for the game.
